Word For Today

Psalm 91:1:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty!

What a wonderful word to reflect on today.  You may be having a stressful day, but don't you know you have rest for your mind, body and soul?  This scripture suggest that if you would just dwell (live, stay, reside, linger) in the presence of God you will find comfort, rest, protection and peace.

We live in a fast paced world, where technology such as email has taken the place of handwritten letters, and Texting has taken over personal telephone calls to our friends, family and loved ones.  We must realize that we can't do it and have it all without a great personal cost to our quality of life.

Take time out of your busy life and dwell on this scripture today.  Let the Peace of God be your dwelling place.  I promise you, you'll find so much comfort resting under the shadow of the Almighty!

Did you Know?

Did you know that you can speak life or death into your circumstances?  That's right!  We can either speak things into our lives that will bring joy, peace and prosperity or we can focus on the negative things that bring, despair, death and poverty into our lives.  If you have been speaking negative things into your life, you have the power to change that today.

Sounds simple enough, however it will be hardest thing you've ever done in your life.  However, there is good news.  Try this exercise...everytime you have a negative thought in your mind, speak the opposite out loud.  For example, if I am thinking I need to lose weight; instead of bashing myself as I look in the mirror, I would speak out something like this..."Wow, I am so grateful for my health and strength today and I am looking forward to eating healthier and exercising".

You have to feel great in your own skin, and in order to do that you have to ALWAYS speak LIFE!

Healthy Tip for Today...

If you're feeling a little hungry in between meals; grab a piece of fruit (i.e. apple, orange) or perhaps a handful of nuts (almonds, peanuts, etc.) This will help you avoid eating empty calories between meals.

Remember, you ARE what you EAT.

Welcome...

...This site was developed especially for you.  I am concerned about you.  I am concerned about your mind, body and soul.  You are welcome to come here and find rest for your weary soul.  You can expect to see articles on health and positive inspirations.

Positive Inspirations is designed to help you keep a positive outlook on life.  Stress can often make us lose perspective about our lives.  We sometimes allow those stresses to overtake us.  We think we have to close one more deal or attend one more meeting.

Yes, it's a fact of life that we have to work in order to live, but what good is it to lose your health over working excessively?  There is a balance that we must have in everything we do.  We need to focus on the most important things first.  Let me tell you from experience, it's not the all mighty dollar.

You see riches are very deceptive.  Sometimes you think, only if I had more money, I would be happy.  Can I tell you that's not true.  Find your passion in life.  Find that thing that you would do for free and then you'll discover what Life is really about.  The bible tells us that we have to lose our lives in order to find it.  It's absolutely true.

Focus on keeping your mind, body and soul in balance and you'll discover the best life ever!
